The Programme provides a carefully planned developmental sequence of literary activities in the five key areas crucial for successful reading: Phonics, word structure, sight words, vocabulary and comprehension. Use on PC and Mac computers or interactive whiteboards. The Reading Quest programme runs from the dics or can be installed in a school network.

Reading Quest provides hundreds of fun-filled activities that reinforce key reading skills. There are four different quests or 'worlds':

  • Time Quest for reading age 6 - 7
  • Star Quest for reading age 6.5 - 7
  • Treasure Quest for reading age 7 - 7.5
  • Champion Quest for reading age 7.5 - 8

The activities are grouped into the five key areas: Phonics, word structure, sight words, vocabulary and comprehension.

Reading Quest Hi-Lo Chapter Books

The 24 chapter books in the Reading Quest series can be used in conjunction with the CD-ROM or as a stand-alone series for 10-15 year-old reluctant readers. The narratives correspond to the themes of the four Quest worlds on the software but can also be read as stand-alone Hi-Lo readers. Stories are exciting, action packed adventures with recurring characters and high quality colour illustrations.
